About Luke
Luke is a public school educator who has taught in both Lewiston and Auburn schools. He currently serves on the School Committee, and previously served on the City Council.
Although Jensen is a Danish surname, Luke is mostly French-Canadian and has extended family in the Breton, Fontaine, Dionne and Morin families.
Luke grew up on School Street in the McMahon School neighborhood. He graduated from Lewiston High School in 2009, and then from Lynchburg College in 2013.
Luke’s stepfather is a US Army veteran, and Luke spent a few years living on an Army base as a kid.
Luke also runs a small media company dedicated to local government reporting, reflecting his belief of keeping citizens informed of local civic happenings.
In his spare time, Luke enjoys getting out in nature, visiting friends and following his favorite sports teams (Go Sox!).
Luke is passionate about supporting Lewiston, the city his family has called home for seven generations.
